The old name come from Technology Gym. In a gym you go to get fit physically, in a "gymtech" you go to get fit in your skills on tech.
I was planning on offering courses. The newsletter was just a marketing tool. But now I'm enjoying writing the newsletter as well. So, even though I might still do courses in the future, at the moment the newsletter is its own thing.
I just feel the new name is quite commonplace. GIMTEC had an aura of uniqueness around it. 😄
I know... It was hard to me to change and to be honest I liked more GIMTEC. Yet, I realized I needed to be a bit more pragmatic, hehe.
